Elizabeth, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
It has taken me a transformative journey to gain self-esteem and confidence. First, I had to unravel the “why” narrative I was telling myself about why my life was not going as I had hoped. I came to the realization that in order to proceed, I had to muster the bravery to write my story as it stands today and change it to reflect the future I sincerely desire.

Using the workbooks from my coaching program was a crucial component of the journey. I was able to map out my ideal future state and my existing circumstances with the aid of these workbooks. They turned into my go-to resources as I rewired my brain for improved results. When I combined mental growth with exercise, healthy eating, and ongoing mentoring, my horizons were expanded.

I discovered a great deal of room for personal and professional development when I worked closely one-on-one with women in my coaching practice. This method has been proven to successfully change lives and increase self-worth and confidence.

In conclusion, a mix of in-depth coaching, strategic planning, and self-reflection helped me grow in confidence and self-worth. The path I’m on keeps changing, and I’m appreciative of each turn that has brought me this far.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I appreciate the chance to talk about my background and my professional passions.

Being a confidence coach, it has become my goal to enable people to escape the stories that no longer fit them. My path has been difficult, involving anything from early foster care experiences to fighting addiction. These difficulties have given me essential lessons and helped shape who I am today.

What I find most exciting about my work is watching the transformative power of confidence and unconditional love. Witnessing my clients conquer self-doubt, work through old traumas, and uncover their inner strength is immensely fulfilling. Extreme confidence and unconditional love are the foundations of my method, and I’m dedicated to helping my clients every step of the way.

I’m also the creator of Vibrant Elephant Mindset (VEM), a platform that aims to empower and enhance women’s lives by connecting with their feminine energy. VEM is aimed at adult women with ADHD, addressing the everyday overload they confront and emphasizing finding harmony through self-discovery.

What’s new? I’m excited to announce that I’m expanding my coaching programs and developing new materials to assist my clients in their road to self-confidence. I am excited to announce my partnership with WithMe, where I will bridge the gap between high-end one-on-one coaching and providing value to all women. Women and men can join the platform for a reasonable monthly price and gain access to the same workbooks, affirmations, and downloads as my high-ticket clientele at a fraction of the cost. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my path, the three qualities, talents, or areas of knowledge that had the greatest impact on my personal self-confidence were:

Resilience: My early experiences in foster care and with addiction taught me the value of resilience. It is the ability to recover from misfortune and continue forward, even when the odds are stacked against you. This quality has served as a foundation in both my personal and professional lives, allowing me to overcome obstacles and assist others in doing the same. It took many years to stand behind that remark, communicate it openly, and truly mean it. Growing up, I felt ‘less than.’

Self-Awareness: Understanding my own ideas, emotions, and behaviours has been critical. It helped me disentangle the “why” story I was telling myself and make deliberate adjustments to rewrite my future. This talent is also valuable in my coaching work since it allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level and guide them through their own self-discovery. This level allowed me to understand why I react to other people’s acts. Taking action and learning more about myself and the limiting ideas that were preventing me from becoming my full potential. The experience of consciousness altered my vision of life.

Neuroplasticity and Trauma-Informed Knowledge: Learning about how our brains develop and adapt, particularly in the face of adversity, has been enlightening. Understanding the science of neuroplasticity and how trauma affects our cognitive functioning has influenced my approach to self-confidence, which led to my coaching career! When I began to notice changes in myself, I felt compelled to share them, as well as the science I was studying along the road. It has enabled me to guide clients in rewiring their brains, replacing old patterns with new, healthy pathways, and embracing development and learning in the face of prior traumas.

These three areas have been critical in my personal development and in determining how I support others on their transformational journeys.

Quitters never win, and winners never quit!!

It struck a chord with me the first time I read it in a book. Later, when I started my internet business, it began to make sense and became something I relied on on a daily basis. Life is challenging enough on its own, but when you and I get into our own patterns, it becomes an even larger challenge. Consider the analogy of a thief of joy—another great one! I was the one who stopped myself from posting, getting online, and being real when I first started my online business. Why is that? It was simple: I compared my life to that of others. The person who stole the joy was me, because I keep myself from being authentic, messy, and open to life and all it has to offer. If my goal is confidence and, ultimately, happiness, who will be there at the end of the day? I am, and it is up to me to create the reality that I desire. A confident and happy life that you may share with others.

For those who are just starting out, here are some tips to help you build resilience, self-awareness, and an understanding of neuroplasticity:

Embrace Your Unique Path: Recognize that your journey is yours alone. It is simple to compare oneself to others, yet doing so can lead to emotions of inadequacy and jealousy. Remember that we each have our own timelines and problems to overcome. Celebrate your progress, no matter how modest, and believe that you are precisely where you ought to be.

Cultivate Self-Awareness: Spending time focusing on your ideas, emotions, and behaviors will help you develop self-awareness. Journaling can be a very effective method for self-discovery. It enables you to explore your inner world, recognize patterns, and acquire insights into what motivates you. This self-awareness will serve as a compass as you navigate your journey.

Learn About Neuroplasticity: Learn about the concepts of neuroplasticity, or the brain’s ability to grow and adapt. Understanding that you have the ability to rewire your brain and form new connections can be quite empowering. Seek for materials, books, or classes that cover this topic and apply the principles to your own growth.

Practice Resilience: Resilience is like a muscle; it gets stronger with practice. When presented with a challenge, remind yourself that it is an opportunity to progress. Accept the discomfort, learn from your mistakes, and keep moving forward. Remember that quitters never win, but winners never give up!

Seek Support: You do not have to do this on your own. Having someone to share your journey with, whether it’s a mentor, a coach, a support group, or a trusted friend, can provide vital encouragement and insight. With the appropriate mentor and/or coach, you can shift the speed or shed years off your personal development in one sentence! Keep this in mind. Genius leaves hints, and having reliable support along the way accelerates the process.

Finally, remember to treat yourself with kindness. Your journey will have ups and downs, but each step you take will lead to progress and self-discovery.

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
I feel it is critical to strike a balance between focusing on your abilities and growing in areas where you lack strength. Balance, which is impossible by definition, occurs when you focus on one thing while ignoring another. This is why I believe that focusing on your strengths is crucial for improving your weaker areas. Here’s why.

Leverage Your Strengths: Focusing on your strengths enables you to flourish and make an immense difference. It’s where you’ll probably feel the most confident and enthusiastic. My ability to connect with others and experience empathy with their challenges has been fundamental in my coaching career.

Work on Weaknesses: While it is crucial to capitalize on your abilities, it is also beneficial to address your deficiencies, particularly if they are holding you back. For example, in my early years, I struggled with self-control and consistency. Working on these areas was critical to my personal growth and professional success.

Balance for Growth: A well-rounded strategy can lead to greater overall improvement. It’s about striking the appropriate balance that will allow you to thrive while also pushing yourself to develop in other areas. Learning about your own strengths and weaknesses might help them balance out. In my personal life, my connections with others paved the way for my coaching job when I developed personal confidence (strength), but consistency in my daily actions was a (weakness) that required attention in order to build a successful business. Before starting the business and achieving success, I needed to know my strengths and weaknesses.

My public speaking experience is a meaningful narrative from my journey. In the beginning, it was a vulnerability that I would avoid at all costs. However, I recognized that honing this skill was vital to spreading my message and reaching more people. So I began practicing, getting comments, and gradually got more comfortable. Now, public speaking is a valuable tool in my arsenal, allowing me to connect with my audience and drive change.

In closing, while it is of the utmost importance to play to your strengths, you ought to acknowledge your limitations completely. A balanced approach can result in a more rewarding and impactful experience.
