Meet Maxwell Sebastian

We recently connected with Maxwell Sebastian and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Maxwell, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
By continuing to wake up every day.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I own a small custom picture framing business in Nashville TN, called S & S Framing. I opened it with my buddy, and business partner, Ryan Sobb, who is also an incredibly talented musician, and all around awesome dude.

I also make paintings, illustrations, animation, installation, logo/brand design, sculptures, prints, clothing, etc etc… anything I can get my hands on, to keep the creative juices flowing.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Stay curious. Be compassionate. Go easy on yourself, and others. Keep making stuff. Even when it doesn’t seem as if anyone gives a hoot.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’ll collaborate with anyone who is making cool stuff, and allows me to get loose with whatever it is I need to be doing for my part.

If it’s an animated music video, it needs to be something I dig. If it’s a brand, they better not suck.

My website or Instagram is the best way to reach me.
