Meet Taylor Byrne

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Taylor Byrne a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Taylor with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I get my work ethic from the idea that I have absolutely no other choice but to succeed. I’ve found that giving myself a Plan B makes me less motivated to put my all into Plan A. So, I tell myself to get my content recorded, post daily, work on myself daily, because I have no other choice but to. It’s like brushing my teeth in the morning; my entrepreneurial work will get done all the same, because it is absolute.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am an entrepreneur. I am a business owner, I have a coaching business, I do influencer marketing, and more. I mostly promote myself as a content creator, as Queen Tay, because that is one of my biggest passions. From that, I created my coaching business to help other aspiring creators find their success. I have had a clothing business for six years and have made it mostly passive just for it to cover my expenses. I have the freedom to do new things too, like working on publishing my book I’ve recently finished writing. The key to success is multiple streams of income!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Mindfulness has had the biggest impact on my success. My mind is always racing and has been that way even before I dove into all of my freelance work. I meditate, journal, pray, and worship daily. I spend every morning alone in my own peace. If you have too many distractions, you won’t be able to find your own mindfulness. Besides that, I research and network. These go hand in hand, because I get to learn more about strategies that work from other successful creators and business owners. Never be afraid to put yourself out there. In a room full of millionaires, be the aspiring millionaire. You’ll be just like them in no time.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
Someone looking for change. Maybe that’s through utilizing something like social media, which they already use often. An ideal client would be just like me: someone who originally spent so much time on social media doing nothing that they got frustrated and looked for ways to make money from it.

Where do you get your work ethic from?

We’ve all heard the phrase “work hard, play hard,” but where does our work ethic
