We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Philip Branch. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Philip below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Philip with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I probably get my work ethic from my mother. Watching her wake up at 6am every morning to work to take care of my brother and I. Not only did it make me want to work harder, but work smarter.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a full time foreign exchange currency trader & education mentor. What I feel is most exciting about what I do is not only the freedom I have provided for myself at an early age, but also helping others see that it is a possible lifestyle as well. That you do not have to spend hours on in, doing back breaking work for someone else’s company. You can take some time, learn a skill, a provided a lovely lifestyle for yourself and your family on your own schedule.
I have also written a book which helps find specific areas of finance which can help provide freedom in their every day lives as well. Can also purchase the book as an NFT. Here is the link -> https://linktr.ee/BecomeRichEbookNFT
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Resilience. Discipline. Open-Mindedness.
The best advice I could give is don’t expect anyone to understand your dream, vision, or process but you. Especially those who have never traveled the path you are embarking on. There will be a lot of judgment, ridicule, and others thinking they know what is best for you. You must ignore all of this. You can achieve your dreams as long as you stay resilient, disciplined & have an open mind about ways to get there.
What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
My biggest area of growth has been my discipline. My prayer habits. My eating habits. My trading habits. My women habits. I’ve changed a lot.
