Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chef Benjamin Leggitte. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Chef Benjamin with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I defintely get my work ethic from being a hard worker and believing in my self, I have always put a lot of pressure on my self and built my morals on exceeding high expectations for my work.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Being a private chef is awesome,It is definitely a lot of hardwork but it i love every minute of it.
I really enjoying meeting new clients and having them enjoy these amazing and flavorful dishes that I create and love to hear their feedback on how good the food is to them. When I started my company (the Chef Benjamin experience) I focused on starting a private chef service that focused more on a dining experience compared to just serving food and providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Yes there are a lot of updates in progress for 2023, I will be launching my own cooking YouTube channel, also I will be making my national television debut with food network and I’ll be doing a lot of motivational speaking events to share my culinary story and inspire the next generation of chefs that need some guidance that want to do what I do for a living.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back now i would say being a great business owner and always going above and beyond for my clients, learning how to make the best out of every single situation with being a entreprenuer and just overall being myself.
my advice would be focus on creating a product or service that matches everything you want it to be and treat your clients/customers with excellent customer service and focus on building relationships with people and not just focus on the money aspect the money will come with the longevity of having a great relationship with people that support you and your business.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
I would say my parents teaching me about hardwork at a early age was very impactful because to this day I still believe in that and my hardwork is what got me to the level that I’m at now.
