Hi Kristen , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Embrace the power of practice, and set small achievable goals. This is what I did! Remember, confidence is a journey, and it takes time and effort to develop. By taking action, setting achievable goals, and embracing practice, you can steadily build your confidence and reach new heights!

Kristen Joy, a native of New York who has always been immersed in the vibrant fashion scene. From an early age, she set her sights on New York Fashion Week, where her passion for session styling and editorial work blossomed. Kristen found her niche working alongside renowned celebrity hairstylists,, styling with prestigious brands. After years of exciting experiences, Kristen’s family eventually settled in Florida, specifically in Saint Johns County. Despite the change in location, Kristen couldn’t let go of her deep-rooted connection to the runway world. Determined to share her knowledge and nurture upcoming talent, she established a salon that serves as an educational hub. It is here that she cultivates the growth of fresh graduates and individuals seeking to forge a career path in the hairstyling industry. Through comprehensive education and guidance, Kristen helps these aspiring stylists develop their skills and build successful careers.
We are now expanding and adding a second location on 210 near Beachwalk! We can’t wait to invite you to our grand opening late summer!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Invest in continuing education, build confidence with skill sets, and learn to be an exclusive communicator. But most of all the positive mindset will go the furthest!
