Meet Angela Navalta

We were lucky to catch up with Angela Navalta recently and have shared our conversation below.

Angela, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Growing up, I was extremely shy and lacked confidence, particularly in my physical appearance. This shyness stemmed from deep-seated doubts and fears about what others might think of me. However, my journey towards self-assurance began in college, where I was surrounded by confident and outspoken individuals. Their fearlessness in expressing their thoughts and opinions inspired me to find my own voice and to start sharing my perspectives.

The turning point came when I ventured into content creation. It was there that I discovered my ability to inspire others to embrace their own confidence, especially women. Empowering women of all ages, regardless of their race or body type, has since become a passion and advocacy of mine. Through my work, I strive to help others find the strength and confidence within themselves, all while pursuing my own passions.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Currently, I am deeply invested in creating content that revolves around beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. This is a path I’ve long aspired to pursue, and I’m incredibly grateful for the leap I took, as it has unlocked a world of opportunities far beyond what I ever could have imagined.

What excites me most about content creation is its profound ability to impact people in various ways—whether it’s providing entertainment, sharing valuable information, or sparking inspiration. The flexibility and dynamic nature of this field allow me to evolve my content as my lifestyle changes. For instance, now that I am expecting and will soon be a mom, I am gradually shifting my focus to include topics on pregnancy and motherhood, alongside my original beauty-related content.

It’s a true delight to see my community grow, filled with individuals who can relate to the different phases of my life. This connection is incredibly special to me, and I am excited to continue this journey alongside my audience.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
In looking back, I’ve identified three qualities that were instrumental in my journey: courage, passion, and authenticity.

My advice to those starting out is to embrace courage and take action without letting fear or others’ opinions paralyze you. Show up consistently, and remember that the work you put in will yield results.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am indeed open to partnering with brands that embody effectiveness, fun, ethics, and sustainability. It is my commitment to promote only products and services that I personally love and have found beneficial, all while ensuring that we care for the environment and do not contribute to waste or cause harm.
