Meet Angie Banicki

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Angie Banicki. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Angie , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

I am pretty sure I get my optimism from my parents. I see how they just find the best in any situation. And my work is o continue to work at it and nurture that. Because it’s very easy for. me to see what isnt working and want to fix that – which is a great trait too – wanting to make things better. But i see how I can continue to imbue more positivity into that making better as well.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I love to see the patterns in people and in the world and figure out how to break those patterns. i do this through reading people in tarot sessions, through advising high profile peeople in business and through writing taroscopes that i share each month. I also channel through music and share information through the songs. It’s all about finding the magic.
I just recently came out with my first tarot deck – www.explorerofthesoul.com. i created the deck with my friend and designer Kasey Blaustein Greener. We hope to spread the gift of connection and magic by helping people see it can be right in front of you!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Working on myself and putting all my awareness on clearing my own baggage or at least understanding it so i can help others with their stuff. Truly when we are trying to understand and see ourselves, we are able and grounded to help others.
2. Experience. My journey with the tarot and truly wiith everything in my life is really rooted in the doing. sometimes as scary or as hard as it can be – the biggest growth i’ve experienced is just in the doing. in the practicing. in the trying of new things. this helps create the experience for oneself and for others.
3. Balance. keeping myself rooted in myself through exploring the other dimensions of tarot and channleing has been crucial. i have a yoga practice every day. i get time in nature and with animals and almost most importantly time with myself.. Life has a way of overwhelming things naturally and feeling into others and more deeply into their stuff can be a LOT. so many times in the BEST of ways and sometimes it can be just too much and heavy on top of my stuff. so all this other life balancing is SO important!

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am SO excited to be launching this deck because it’s opened up more of the idea of collaboration for me. I now have this thing that supports my gifts! (the cards!). We are looking to do fun collabs with designers and brands who want to have fun with the cards and engage in experiences with their audiences. We are open to expllore the fun ways we can do this! One way i have been doing is in workshops and dinner parties. If you are a brand out there looking to chat, we welcome possibility and can be reached on my website or on the tarot site. angiebanicki.com. or explorerofthesoul.com
