Hi Keisha, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I get my resilience mostly from my Mom. She has always taught me to be ambitious. And in order to get to where you’re going you can never quit or crumble. So whatever negative event happens I just always try to bounce back.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am an Actress and a stunt performer. My career is exciting because I get to go from TV sets to different movie sets and meet all sorts of artists and crew members who all contribute to making the production. Since I do acting and stunts the situations and performances are always different I’m always kept on my toes, and I love that!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I think some important skills or areas of knowledge for my crafty would be agility and athleticism, ability to know humans and their psychology, and acting skills.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

The challenge I still face today is the confidence that I will do a great job and/or that I’ve already done a great job on certain projects. I work on that sometime by trying to forget about what I’ve done and when the time comes to see it. Then I’ll learn from it and do better the next time.
