We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bridget Pritchard a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Bridget , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose in PAIN. It wasn’t until life begin to happen tragedy after tragedy. 2004 my mother was in accident that left her paralyzed. Then August 2005 I loss of my grandmother followed by sudden loss of my father, and then having my baby boy. I went through loss after loss. It wasn’t until I became aware of who I was in Christ and fully surrendering to the process of healing and becoming I simply lived a life without purpose. When I identified my purpose there was a sense of fulfillment that no man, no materialistic things could ever replace God in my life. I now live a purposed-filled life with an amazing husband and 5 children. I’m thriving and living a purposed-filled life.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am professionally Licensed Real Estate Professional with Remax Homes and Properties of South Florida located in West Palm Beach, Fl. I serve all of South Florida including Miami-Dade, Broward County, and Palm Beach County. I am currently Top Producer within my brokerage by obtaining over 1.28 million in pending sales in the Month of April 2024. I am a trail blazer that’s charting the way for other real estate professionals. I was the first African American licensed realtor from Jackson County Alabama. I have developed a 4 week Real Estate course entitled ” Strategies To Homeownership”. God simply gave me the blueprint to teach to individuals how to successfully to obtain homeownership. One thing that’s so unique about this course is that it allowed to meet individuals from across the United States and created referral base through my students once they are prepared to purchase. Currently I am planning my first conference entitled “The Family’s Business” Conference 2024 to take place in Huntsville, Alabama at the Embassy Suite Downtown August 2-3, 2024. God has given me the vision to bring the family into one “Safe” place to have the conversations as why dysfunction, estrangement, and separation has become an accepted norm amongst families across the world. I am taking a holistic approach where we will incorporate mental wellness and having therapist, panel discussion that will incorporate our children and giving them a voice. Often times as parents we can neglect to acknowledge that some of our decisions have negatively impacted our children. The ultimate mission, purpose, and vision of this movement is the FAMILY will be healed and restored. Having healthy family dynamics will overall impact our communities. The theme for this movement is “Healing One Family at a Time”. If you may perhaps are reading this after the dates please be on the lookout for next year’s. I’m excited to see what God does with this vision.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
3 qualities that I have allowed my to navigate the vicissitudes of life
1, Personal Convictions/Moral Compass/God
2. Integrity
3. Emotional Intelligence and Personal Development
These 3 skills are key qualities I believe one must possess to achieve any level of success as well as maintain. One can improve these areas by investing in life coaches, finding reading material that speak to a specific area in which you seek to the areas you wish to improve, and finally your connections and your circle of colleagues or friends. If you are not around people who wish to see you win not just in life and willing to help you then they are not simply the people you should center yourself around.

Yes, I am looking for partnership and collaboration with industry leaders that understand the importance of family and how healthy family dynamics impacts communities be it amongst our children/youth and adults.
