Meet Carra Roots

We recently connected with Carra Roots and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Carra, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Going through life, I found myself getting frustrated about the same things. I would also find that God would continually give me strategies and ideas on how the things I was frustrated with could be changed. It was then when I started to see that purpose was less about gifts and talents, and more about the solutions that you could offer the world.

Finding your purpose and walking in purpose will take setting aside time to evaluate to feel if you are or are not operating in it, especially as you get older. And then action to move in that space, despite limited beliefs.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a coach and consultant in life and business field and I focus heavily on helping people navigate transitions and phases in both. My business Created For You Only provides creative solutions for brands through visuals, website, and consulting services.

What I love most is that, after heavily supporting many brands throughout the years, I am now beginning my coaching program Emerge. This program is for emerging coaches and consultants who need help aligning their expertise and experience. All the information is on my website.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three areas of knowledge that I had to tap into in this journey were; my prayer life, decision-making, and confidence. These three things built upon each other in my business growth are still essential in where I am now. In the beginning phases of business we can overthink so many things, which in turn causes procrastination and confusion. Schedule in time to iron out what’s frustrating you in your business early on so that you can continue to deliver well to your consumers.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client would have to be someone who understands that strategy is key, and they are ready to invest in that. When I say invest, I don’t always mean money, I mean time and even thought.

In the pandemic, there was a rise of everything happening quickly. Quick deliverables and quick results. If you are one who still wants amazing deliverables and catered to you strategy, we definitely should talk.
