We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kirsten Beach. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kirsten below.
Kirsten, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I think in a society where we are constantly being marketed to and sold things–whether that be dreams, strategies, or products, it’s easy to sometimes feel overwhelmed (well at least for me, it is.) And as a creator, I often feel like I’m in an oversaturated market characterized by the perfect combination of luck and palatability which can feel particularly discouraging. But in the midst of all of that, I keep my creativity alive by reminding myself that the markets in which I exist and create in will never be oversaturated with what I, myself, can provide. I remind myself that I am unique and have a voice that can provide a different perspective. I remind myself that I am unlike everyone else, and that is not to my detriment, but instead, it’s my power. And from there, I create a routine that allows me to dream big, but with structure.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My name is Kirsten Beach and if you asked those closest to me, they’d say that I wear a lot of different hats. I’m a creative above all else and with that, I’m also a social media manager, experience strategist, content creator, micro-influencer, singer, artist, and freelance model. There’s nothing I love more than creating meaningful content that tells a story— and as a creator, I refuse to be confined by societal boxes. I’m someone who always looks for opportunities to carve out my own space and offer something authentic and distinctive.
What excites me most about what I do is the endless potential for innovation and expression. Every photo, video, and experience is an opportunity to explore new ideas, challenge conventions, and connect with others on a deeper level. It’s not just about creating for the sake of creation, but about making a meaningful impact and leaving a lasting impression.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say the three skills that have been most impactful in my journey are adaptability, authenticity, and perseverance.
Adaptability has been crucial in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of creativity and social media. Being able to pivot, experiment with new trends, and embrace change is so important in the creator-sphere. My advice for those starting out is to adopt a mindset of flexibility and openness to new ideas. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and explore different avenues, because adaptability often leads to growth and innovation!
Next, is authenticity. This has truly been my guiding light because I feel like we live in a society that’s currently filled with curated personas and a whole lot of superficiality. I think it’s so important to always stay true to yourself and know who you are at your core because if you do that, you’re better able to drown out all the noise from people around you. And ultimately, when you share your stories, passions, and quirks authentically, you’ll attract like-minded individuals who resonate with you.
Lastly, is perseverance. This has been the driving force behind my journey as a creator. The road to success is rarely smooth, and setbacks are inevitable, but it’s how you move through those setbacks that define you. I find myself getting discouraged A LOT, but the key is to never quit. I always think of creators who have spent 10+ years building their platforms and are just recently being praised for their efforts. They are a symbol of perseverance, and they inspire me to keep going too!
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
As a creator, micro-influencer, and freelance model, I’m always looking for new like-minded people to connect with! That being said, I would love to collaborate with Atlanta photographers and videographers in the area to build my modeling portfolio. I’m also currently available to take on new clientele for UGC retainer arrangements, catering to businesses and brands seeking UGC social content across their social media channels! If you or someone you know is looking to collaborate in either of these areas, you can send an inquiry via my website at www.kirstenbeach.com
