We recently connected with Gastón Corbala and have shared our conversation below.
Gastón, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
From the acceptance of the conditions surrounding my everyday life, good and bad.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Hi everyone, my name is Gastón Corbala.
I am the Founder of The Backpackster, a revolutionary advertising medium in the ad tech industry, focused on bringing together the walking gig economy in America with advertisers.
Our goal is to allow brands to closely capture detailed data and target their audience like no other out of home medium out there, we’ll able to provide detailed analysis of their campaigns, so detailed that not even social media platforms can provide.
The climax of it all, is the opportunity we offer to earn an income in a healthy and environmentally friendly way. We will empower people to start making extra income just by walking, which at the end is a win win, who would not love to make money and enjoy the healthy rewards that come with exercising.
The Backpackster is an equanimous business poised to disrupt the ad game.
For the people.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The best quality an Entrepreneur can have is determination in their faith, I believe that obstacles are lessons to guide us towards our faith and purpose in life.
It is not possible to apply knowledge to self doubt, we are our own limitation and our own guidance.
What Im trying to say is, believe in yourself and what you want to accomplish, for the greater things in this life are fulfilled by resilience, determination and a good intention.
The best way for me to cope with obstacles and self doubt is thru meditation, the practice of detachment, acceptance, Faith and Family
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My parents have been my numero uno supporters since day one, I remember starting my first startup back when I was 11 years old.
I basically went up to my Dad and asked him for some cash to buy chips and candy to sell out of my parents garage, I setup shop during school week and by the weekend it was all setup.
You might be asking yourself, was it successful?
The answer is Yes and No, sales were great the first two days, but by Sunday I had leftover stock and ate it all.
This was how I started my business journey, with the support of my parents.
Success for me is the feeling of fulfillment that comes with creating a change in peoples lives and I am very grateful for the support in my journey.
