Anilly , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I find my purpose by immersing myself in the world around me, particularly through art. Witnessing the joy it brings others, igniting creativity and evoking deep emotions, I see its profound impact. For me, creating art is therapeutic; it’s a form of expression that offers solace, especially during times of stress, anxiety, or depression. It provides a beautiful and safe outlet for self-expression. Art has not only connected me with incredible individuals but has also served as a source of relief amidst the challenges our world faces today. It’s through these experiences that I’ve discovered my purpose – to contribute to the world’s well-being through the power of artistic expression.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m deeply passionate about painting and transforming the visions in my mind into tangible works of art. Recently, I had the honor of contributing to my community by creating a piece that symbolized The Sun, which was awarded and now permanently hangs in the Sunny Isles Government Center as part of their new Gateway Artway.

What’s most thrilling and special about what I do is the ability to inspire unity through art. I aim to foster a sense of togetherness and provide a safe space where individuals can unleash their creativity and bring their artistic visions to life. My goal is to encourage others to recognize the power of art in connecting communities and promoting harmony.

As a project administrator in my day job, I’ve experienced the gratification of seeing plans materialize. This same sense of accomplishment translates onto the canvas when I witness the fruition of my artistic endeavors.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue expanding my reach and impact, whether through new projects, events, or collaborations. My brand represents not just my artistic expression, but also a beacon of unity and inspiration for all who encounter it.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Reflecting on my journey, three qualities have been profoundly impactful: resilience, creativity, and empathy.

Resilience has been my guiding light through the darkest of times, allowing me to weather storms and emerge stronger than before. It’s the unwavering belief in myself and my abilities, even when faced with obstacles or setbacks. My advice to those embarking on their own journey is to cultivate resilience by embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, and to never lose sight of their inner strength.

Creativity fuels my soul and drives me to explore new horizons, pushing the boundaries of what is possible. It’s the ability to see the world through different lenses, finding beauty and inspiration in the most unexpected places. To nurture creativity, one must embrace curiosity, indulge in experimentation, and fearlessly pursue their passions with an open mind and heart.

Empathy is the cornerstone of my connection with others, allowing me to understand their perspectives, share in their joys and sorrows, and foster genuine connections. It’s the capacity to listen deeply, offer support without judgment, and walk alongside others on their own journeys. For those starting out, I urge them to cultivate empathy by practicing active listening, seeking to understand before being understood, and embracing diversity in all its forms.

In essence, my journey has been shaped by resilience, creativity, and empathy – qualities that have not only propelled me forward but have also enriched my experiences along the way. My advice to those beginning their journey is simple: embrace resilience in the face of adversity, nurture creativity as a beacon of inspiration, and cultivate empathy to forge meaningful connections with others. By embodying these qualities, they can navigate the winding paths of life with courage, grace, and compassion.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents have done for me is bringing me to this country, providing me with the opportunity to grow and thrive in an environment filled with endless possibilities. Their decision to embark on a journey to a new land, filled with hope and determination, has laid the foundation for every success and opportunity I’ve encountered in my life.

By choosing to raise me in a place that embraces diversity, celebrates individuality, and offers boundless opportunities, my parents have empowered me to become the best version of myself. Their sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering support have shaped the person I am today, instilling in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and gratitude.

I am forever grateful for the gift of opportunity that my parents have given me, and I carry their legacy with pride as I strive to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. Their love, courage, and sacrifice continue to inspire me to reach for the stars and never settle for anything less than my dreams.
