As the owner of Drip Queen Coffee, I’ve always believed in the power of innovation and the pursuit of excellence. When we set out to recreate coffee to be more health-conscious, portable, and shelf-stable, we knew we were embarking on a journey that would redefine our product and set us apart from our competitors. Our commitment to using the finest ingredients, maintaining a lactose-free and allergen-free profile, and ensuring that our drinks are shelf-stable are just a few ways we are elevating our cold brew offerings.
In the face of haters and nay-sayers, we persist by staying true to our vision and values. Not everyone will appreciate or understand our mission to create innovative, high-quality coffee products. However, we draw strength from our loyal customers who recognize and value our commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and mental health advocacy.

As we look toward the future, Drip Queen Coffee is focused on innovating and expanding our presence in the coffee industry. Our journey has been incredible, and we are excited to share what lies ahead.
Our primary focus is professionally enhancing our customers’ experience by offering unique and high-quality coffee blends. We believe that coffee is more than just a beverage; it’s an experience, a ritual that brings people together. We constantly explore new flavors and brewing techniques to ensure that every cup of Drip Queen Coffee delivers a memorable experience.
What excites us most is the opportunity to connect with our community meaningfully. We have several new initiatives in the pipeline that we are thrilled to share with our readers. First, we are launching a series of exclusive, limited-edition coffee and tea blends celebrating different regions and cultures. Each blend will have a unique story and flavor profile, offering our customers a new adventure with every sip.
In addition to our product innovations our upcoming events, we are also expanding our physical presence. We are in the process of vendoring in more Colorado cities, making it easier for our customers to enjoy our products in person. Our Vendor Tent will feature our cold brews, retail products, and brewing equipment and a design that reflects our commitment to sustainability and community.
Lastly, we are increasing our efforts to grow our social media presence. We want to connect with our customers more personally and share the stories behind our coffee. We aim to create a vibrant online community through engaging content, interactive sessions, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of our operations.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on our journey, the three most impactful qualities are passion, resilience, and a deep understanding of our craft. Passion has been the driving force behind every decision and innovation, fueling our growth and inspiring us to improve continually. Finding and cultivating your passion is crucial for those early in their journey. Let it guide you, stay curious, and always seek to learn more.
Resilience has been crucial in overcoming obstacles and setbacks. The ability to adapt and bounce back from difficulties has been essential to our success. Developing resilience is key to long-term success. Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow, stay positive, learn from failures, and never give up. Build a support network of mentors, peers, and advisors who can provide guidance and encouragement.
A thorough knowledge of coffee, from sourcing the best beans to mastering brewing techniques, has set us apart in the market. This expertise has allowed us to deliver high-quality products and build a loyal customer base consistently. Two books that have played an essential role in my development are “We Should All Be Millionaires” by Rachel Rodgers and “Financial Literacy for All” by John Hope Bryant. These books have provided valuable insights and practical wisdom that have significantly influenced my approach to business and personal finance.
In “We Should All Be Millionaires,” Rachel Rodgers emphasizes the importance of shifting one’s mindset about money and wealth. One of this book’s most impactful nuggets of wisdom is the concept of the “million-dollar decisions” versus “broke-ass decisions.” Rodgers encourages readers to make decisions that align with long-term wealth building rather than short-term savings.
