Meet Sean Roberts

We were lucky to catch up with Sean Roberts recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sean , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

How is did I find my purpose . I found my purpose from working for a sale company in New York City years ago . As I worked for this big company in New York City a lady that we called the church lady , would preach to us everyday about God . One day as I was getting off the elevator she approached me and said that the Holy Spirit had spoken to her . The Holy Spirit told her from this day forward I would be a preacher ,but not in the traditional sense . At first I laugh ed it off and a few weeks later I decided to move to Florida out of the blue and due to the back to back snow storms. I’ didn’t want to leave at first because I had a good job and the place I was living was perfect., but I found out God had other plans . As I left New York City and move to Orlando Florida. Here I started working at a store in which I would talk to people about projects I wanted to do . Soon after that I met a person who was doing a music video and this is where the story get more interesting. As I assisted in doing the music video I learned I had a gift and God had a plan for me . As I continued to do project with the music producer I would meet some interesting and helpful people . While meeting these people one of them needed my help to assist with a movie premiere. As I assisted and helped he went around and made it seem like I didn’t do anything and this is how my organization and films projects got started (amrak) Amrak is karma spelled backwards.I was so upset about what happen to me that I decided to make a movie called karma and then a friend told me to call it amrak and I said what is amrak . It karma spelled backwards and this is how it all got started and I found my purpose .I had no experience in film making I just learned and build up a team of volunteers to help me produce the film and them later music videos songs and more movies . As time progress I was able to get on tv, radio and magazines to help people to get better and do better after they got bullied . Amrak is taking the negative and turning it around to something positive through entertainment. So after doing these projects in the entertainment industry I raised money to make amrak a non profit and make more films and music videos to help people get closer to God and be better and do better and help others find God .We now have spread our message to schools, politicians ,preacher and business professionals. Our message is simple to save and change lives through entertainment. Please visit our website and support our efforts to help more people feel better about themselves after they get bullied . Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

What I focus of professionally is building positive relationships with people who have been bullied in life. We focus on helping people heal through producing positive films, music videos and events that bring people together to better their communities through entertainment. We want to save as many lives with our non profit . We teach people to be better and to help others and bring them up.We do this on radio , tv and magazines interviews .

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most important qualities is one to be a good listener, two learn to love on people even though they may do you wrong and to be persistent on goals you may have . God will guide you if you are able to surrender and listen to him . The best advice for people starting out on their journey is to never give up , trust the process ie (God ) and lastly know God got your back because their is a bigger purpose for your life . Keep going and just start right where you are at.
