We were lucky to catch up with Rossy Sanchez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Rossy , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Finding my purpose was a journey of self-discovery and passion. As an industrial engineer with over a decade of experience in quality control, I always had an eye for detail and a drive for excellence. However, it was my deep love for shoes and quality materials that truly ignited my passion. The inspiration for Anabella came from my daughter, Anabella, who is my biggest motivation. Combining my professional skills with my newfound love for artisanal footwear, I found my purpose in creating a brand that values craftsmanship, quality, and uniqueness.

Anabella started as a footwear brand in 2018, focused on creating high-quality shoes made by artisans in Alicante, Spain, using premium Italian leather with a certificate of origin. What makes Anabella special is our commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the artisanal touch in every product. Recently, we expanded our brand and opened a new space at Dadeland Mall, where we redefine the shopping experience by engaging all the senses. This space offers French pastries, excellent quality coffee, and stunning flower arrangements sourced from France and Central America. Additionally, we have introduced a luxurious pajama collection made from the finest German cotton, inspired by Toile de Jouy, and made in Spain. We are constantly evolving and excited to bring these unique experiences and products to our customers.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most impactful qualities in my journey have been attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to adapt and innovate. Attention to detail ensures that every product meets the highest standards, which is crucial in building a trusted brand. Commitment to quality, from sourcing materials to the final product, has been the foundation of Anabella’s reputation. Lastly, the ability to adapt and innovate has allowed us to grow and expand our offerings, keeping the brand fresh and exciting.
For those early in their journey, I recommend focusing on honing these qualities. Pay attention to the small details, as they can make a big difference. Prioritize quality in everything you do, and never compromise on your standards. Lastly, be open to change and innovation. The ability to evolve with the market and incorporate new ideas will help you stay relevant and successful.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Throughout my journey, my family has been incredibly supportive, especially my daughter Anabella, who has been my greatest inspiration. Additionally, the artisans and professionals I’ve worked with in Alicante have been instrumental in teaching me the nuances of craftsmanship and quality. Their expertise and dedication have greatly influenced Anabella’s products. Lastly, my professional background in quality control and the experiences I’ve had working for multinational companies have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate and overcome the challenges in building a successful brand.
