Fernando , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose after going through some rough times in my life, I faced a divorce in the meantime I was in recovery from a surgery and my way of draining everything I was feeling at that time was to do photography, after that, I realized the power of doing what I do. It can be more than creating an image, it can be a way of self-expression, a way of showing everyone else what you’re seeing with your soul. After that, I started teaching photography too and I think that if photography helped me going through everything, it could help someone else too

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a portrait photographer based in Miami Florida, and even though my work is mostly Portraits, I don’t like to lock myself on just that category. I love to take photos of everything and storytelling, So I can do many styles of photography and I feel comfortable doing it. From portraits, products, landscapes, Creative sessions, Food, and Family. My main focus right now is just to grow my business and help my community to grow their brands and image.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Well, the 3 skills that I focused on to get here were, first of all, learning the technique, I started studying Professional photography, and after I graduated, I kept studying about lightning, marketing, etc. And still do it today.
And finally I needed to work on my final product. What I’m offering to my clients. So, basically, those were the 3 pillars that I focused on. To my folks who are starting out, keep pushing, learn everything you can, and then use it in your workflow. And most important. Never stop shooting.

Of course! I’m always looking for a new adventure to explore. If some brand, wants to collaborate with me I’m totally open. models or magazines.
