Monique, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose by reflecting on my passions, values, and strengths. Often times I listen to my inner voice and pay attention to what truly fulfills me.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am, Monique Glover, the founder of   LaMonique Cosmetics, a health-conscious vitamineral aromatherapy line of cosmetics which are created with micronized minerals and freeze-dried vitamins. LaMonique Cosmetics is a small women minority owned certified business. I’m also a staunch advocate for promoting clean sustainable products and empowering women thru beauty. 
LaMonique Cosmetics loose mineral eyeshadows were not just a finalist but also second runner up in The Clean Beauty Awards. They are the only sustainable eyeshadow that is pure enough to be applied to the eyes as well as lips for matching color. All of our products are non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and paraben free. LaMonique Cosmetics aims to be a leader in sustainable eco-friendly products.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Reflecting on my journey, three qualities that have been impactful are adaptability, curiosity, and persistence.
In the early stages of my journey, I focused on developing these qualities by actively practicing them in my daily life. Remember that growth takes time, so be patient with yourself and celebrate your progress along the way.
