Meet Christian Ross-Francis

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christian Ross-Francis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Christian, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
Building resilience takes time, strength, and help from people around you; That’s where I got my resilience from. We all experience setbacks along the way but personal behaviors and skills like self-esteem and communication skills, as well as external things like social support and resources available to you will help you be resilient.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a Branding Consultant and CEO of Exclusive Brand Agency. I help people secure branding deals, educate them about branding, and guide them on turning their brand identity into a marketable and profitable brand. My strategic communications approach enables me to effectively communicate with my clients and bring their visions to life. I also have knowledge of brand perception, social media marketing and branding so I can successfully tailor my clients’ messages to reach their target audience and to reach their goals. I feel most excited preparing athletes for life on and off the court and giving back to her community. Also bringing my clients vision to life and helping them towards success make this journey so special to me!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back the skills that were most impactful on my journey were communication, work ethic, and problem solving. This journey communication is key because I had to articulate my thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively. But also, had to be a good listener so I can understand others’ emotions and build strong relationship and resolve conflict. Secondly work ethic impact my journey because I had to demonstrate personal accountability for my actions and work habits. And lastly problem solving was a key component of my journey it showed me how to analyze issues, make sound decisions and overcome problems. The advice I give people on this journey is that communication is key, strong work ethic goes a long way, and problem solving is needed when creating a business.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The book that played an important role in my development is You’re Not Broken by Christopher Michael Ducan. This book taught me how to create a life I love, transform my reality, and manifest miracles with ease. With this book it says you don’t have to “fix” anything about yourself to do it. You don’t have to think a certain way, heal your past, clear your emotions, or embrace any specific belief system. This book really gave me a new outlook on life!
