Meet Helena champion

We were lucky to catch up with Helena Champion recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Helena , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

I think a positive mindset is a magnet for miracles. The strongest thing is hope and stay optimistic in hard times can really help you push through.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My name is Helena. I am 28 and I am a part time social media influencer! I work a full time 9-5 where I am a personal assistant and do content creation on the side. I love being creative, expressing myself and working with brands I love and respect. I have always loved all things girly, beauty and fashion so this is my real passion.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think my positive mindset has really helped me manifest my socials journey so far. As well as hard work or course. My organizational skills also play a big part due to being a PA I always have a long list of tasks and plans so I do this for my own socials as well as my usual job. I think my 3rd skill that’s helped my journey is being brave. By this I mean putting myself out there and ignoring some of the negative comments!

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

Judgement of others always comes with social media. It sadly comes with the job! But it can be hard to not take comments to heart and let it really set you back. I just tell myself anything you love doing is not embarrassing or cringe as people do call it. Putting yourself out there and doing something you love for everyone to see is braver than you think.
