Stafford, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

I often get asked about the source of my optimism. Honestly, I don’t have a precise explanation—it’s just part of who I am. I’ve always chosen to avoid dwelling on negativity and instead focus on the potential positives. This mindset has helped me navigate various challenges, whether physical, mental, or spiritual. By consistently looking ahead and aiming for the best possible outcome, I’ve been able to overcome many obstacles.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I wear many hats in the realm of Information Technology, but my primary focus is as a Cloud Data Center Architect for a leading ISP in the Bahamas. This role allows me to significantly influence the development and delivery of our Cloud Portfolio’s products and services, deepening my connection to each project.

In addition to this, I also work as a Tech Consultant, a role that has been incredibly rewarding and has taken me to various local and international destinations. I thrive on helping people and infusing joy into every environment I find myself in. Life is too short to dwell on negativity; I believe in living life to the fullest and embracing every moment with positivity.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Determination: My unwavering determination has been crucial, ensuring that every task I undertake is completed with excellence and perseverance.

Teamwork: Embracing teamwork has allowed me to collaborate effectively with others, fostering an environment where we can all achieve new heights together.

Empathy: My ability to empathize with others has been essential, enabling me to understand and respect their experiences, and build strong, supportive relationships.

I would encourage anyone just beginning their journey to keep their spirits high, even when things don’t go as planned. Nobody enjoys failure, but respecting it can open doors to greater success. Keep adjusting and pushing through the tough times, and you’ll find the positive moments waiting for you.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Someone who is genuinely open to being assisted. Sometimes you run into potential clients that don’t want to actually be helped, but to be told they are correct about something. I am big on helping and seeing any project or task thru to completion, so I prefer to work with people that are open and willing to receive assistance and advice.

I highly value relationships, so I always strive to build strong bonds with my clients. This approach has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to connect with them on a deeper level. Over the years, I’ve formed some wonderful friendships that have enriched my life and led to lasting connections.
