Meet Rhianna Basore

We recently connected with Rhianna Basore and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhianna, so excited to have you with us today, particularly to get your insight on a topic that comes up constantly in the community – overcoming creativity blocks. Any thoughts you can share with us?

For me, the secret to never having a Creativity block interfere with my day-to-day as a professional creative and coach for creatives is to cross train. I firmly believe that we need to work out our creative muscles cross-discipline to allow support skills to strengthen our work, like working out the smaller muscles in a muscle group builds a collaborative strength in our bodies. So this means pulling out my old school camera and snapping some pics on a walk. Treating my inner child to some new markers at the art supply store. Allowing my sense of expression to influence what I wear and where I go that day. Since there are an infinite number of ways to express oneself, how could I ever be blocked?

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a lifelong professional creative and Money Mindset coach for female business leaders. I create projects and experiences that transcend the ordinary to empower women to see themselves as the heroine of their own financial journey. Whether it is funding their best life or making the investment of their time matter more in their lives, I support women executives and entrepreneurs to spend their greatest resource (themselves) where it matters most to them. Knowing where and with whom to spend this most precious life with is the most important tool to navigate our shifting times. Abundance surrounds us all and if we are happy and tapped in to our potential, we are magnets for the life of our dreams. I help women remove the barriers that keep them stuck, broke, and afraid from living the life of their dreams.
I love watching women unlock their potential as the financial motor of their lives. Seeing them take the Instagram-influencers vacation that they’ve fantasized about or finally buying that dream home means they are moving towards building a life that reflects who they truly are. It’s easy to get caught up in the looks of success and this can separate us from how it feels on the inside. By helping women separate the ‘have to’s from the ‘want to’s, I set their inner money compass free to take them towards the life of their dreams! It is truly the best.
I am thrilled to share my How To Slay Your MONEY Monsters course is live and available. This is a self-guided course that takes you through the best ways I’ve found to identify, overcome, and vanquish the voices in your head that hold you back from earning your true worth. I share 8 audio lessons that target what MONEY monster is rattling your cage and where to make those financial shifts to embrace your abundant birthright.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Thinking outside the box has always allowed me to find a new solution to an old problem. When I was working at the heights of my creative career as a theatre actress, I found that the time commitment I made there was a limit to anything else going on in my life. My shift to making and producing film and TV projects allows me the time and financial freedom to pursue the opportunities that come up in real time without feeling disconnected from my creative self. It’s a total win-win.
I also think resilience is a creative’s best friend. We handle so many challenges that don’t fit in any one box. When we know that our flexible skillset can meet us where the challenge hangs out, we know we can rely on ourselves to make it through anything. And that, my friend, is truly gold!
Finally, I have found that understanding the language of money has allowed me to run my creative career and coaching business as the financial engine it is. I can tap into a number of tools, including my bottom line, to make the next project I am passionate about go from dream to execution. I didn’t have that sense of power when I was in my starving artist days and now I know that understanding how money works can truly set women free!

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

Women who know they can make good money but aren’t sure what happens to that money after they’ve made it are the kinds of clients I support best. I understand how being a high achieving women can lead to some blindspots in your financial freedom. This new level of money mindset challenges means that women can end up just looking for the next payday, instead of enjoying their well-earned abundance. I can take professional women from money rich and abundance poor to thriving and funding their best life. It’s pure magic.
