Meet Kyglam Beauty

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kyglam Beauty . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Kyglam , thanks for sitting with us today to chat about topics that are relevant to so many. One of those topics is communication skills, because we live in an age where our ability to communicate effectively can be like a superpower. Can you share how you developed your ability to communicate well?

We believe that customer service is the most important tool you can have as a business owner. Our company provides the highest possible as it represents two women who have worked hard to be where they are. We are not perfect nor are we saying that we don’t make mistakes, because we do. We just like to make our customer service a great experience for all of our clients. We believe that communication is what has helped us grow and come thus far. Anyone can be good at something but not everyone can sell it. You have to have that extra spark to finally have someone choose you instead of others in a big market like the makeup industry.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We are a cousin hair and makeup duo! We travel all around north Texas doing makeup for mostly weddings and special events! We are a part of a lot of special days!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The quality skills we feel were most impactful in our journey we would say were to be trustworthy, knowledgeable and available. We make sure our clients can trust our opinion by giving them high quality work and service. Having the knowledge and being up to date with the new skills and trends in sanitation and application. Also, being available and responding as soon as we can rather then having our clients wait. The best advice I would say is to just stay consistent in your work and be ready to answer as soon as you can and don’t have your clients waiting!

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

We definitely do get overwhelmed but to us gratitude always helps us! Having a positive mindset. We speak to each other by reminding our selves that’s it’s that we have to but that we get too!
