We were lucky to catch up with Omkar Huude recently and have shared our conversation below.
Omkar, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
My optimism stems from a powerful combination of belief and spirituality. Choosing this field ignited a sense of self-confidence, and spiritually, I perceive a constant, supportive energy guiding me. This is the wellspring of my optimism.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Omkar Huude is a fashion and portrait photographer based in New York City with a successful career in Mumbai and Pune, India. His images are crafted with a musical influence. Fusing classic sensibilities of beauty from the east with western sensibility.
Huude brings years of experience working with branding, digital marketing, and campaign strategies. He often collaborates with fashion designers and influencers and his work has been published in ‘Mob Journal’, ‘Style Cruze’, ‘GMARO’, and others.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1.Humility
2.Consistency

My advice for up coming artists would be:
Stay True to Yourself: Embrace your individuality. Humility and connection to your roots will always be your foundation. Follow your instincts and create what resonates with you and your community. Every contribution matters.
Embrace Consistency: Regularly creating art, whatever your medium, fuels your creativity and builds recognition.
Think Outside the Box: Always strive for originality. What makes your work distinct? Always try to think out of the box, what different can you do from others, its kind of a rat race out there be unique and be you.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I always have been open about collaborating for arts.
I’m a big believer in the power of teamwork! I love joining forces with different artists, fashion designers, art directors and makeup artists, especially up-and-coming fashion designers. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating on several projects, and it’s always a blast to see how different artistic visions come together to create something truly special.
