We recently connected with Maksim Baglaev and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Maksim, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

This question is constantly spinning in my head, it has always been difficult for me to answer it unequivocally. I have many goals, but it has always been morally difficult to link them into one. During this period of my life, I can say with confidence that the main goal is to convey to people a sense of beauty, emotions and aesthetics!
I was able to understand this goal after a long time, through a response and a sense of self-expression.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I was born in Belarus in a small town. He went through many stages of developing his vision in the photosphere. I was shooting in almost all directions, looking for myself and my vision, and as a result, for almost 13 years I gave up many types of filming. And currently I am developing in the field of art, street photography, and also working with modeling agencies and brands. Now I am paying great attention to the development of a new style, I am considering the possibility of moving to a new country to see new places and start working with brands of a new level. I have grown very much mentally and technically after such a long time working in photography. My priority now is to explore as much as possible new things in visual and communication.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Of course I will be able to highlight:
Perseverance, Love for yourself and your work, Self-development!
Don’t be afraid to experiment and take risks, always listen to yourself and your gut, charge the creativity of yourself and others, be honest about everything

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

Люди обвиняют меня в их творчестве и действиях. Я получаю много опыта и удовольствия от процесса создания любого творческого продукта, сами процессы взимают с меня плату за много времени вперед. Я провожу много времени с самим собой, это один из главных способов перезагрузиться и услышать себя.
