Zerik, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from my mother. She was a great women who never gave up despite the obstacles she was faced with. She was a provider an alsoa great nurturer for her children an when things were going wrong she always did her best to give me an my brother an great life!
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Being in the music industry losing love for the craft, I found myself jumping from job to job trying to find my life’s purpose. My older brother was a barber an introduced me to the craft of barbering a few years later, an I found love once more in the art of barbering. I stayed down with barbering knowing it could be the base foundation to grow anything I wanted by just staying dedicated an discipline. Things were rough at first as any new craft can be but my perseverance got me through. I always wanted more out of life an especially my time, so I started asking many clients an people the type of work they do a what got them interested. I stumbled upon day trading a this changed my life, not just financially but mentally, spiritually, & an emotionally! I finally found my calling, this not only changed my perspective on a lot of things in life but helped me become a better man in all aspects of life becoming more disciplined, an patient. I work hard for everything I have achieved an want to achieve, in life without looking for handouts because I learned early nobody cares! If your reading this I just want you to know you can do anything you can visualize an just seeing it you have already manifested the life you want! Just continue to keep going an never give up, everything will be into fruition! Keeping God first!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
DayTrading has to be one of the more important qualities/ skill sets that helped me progress further in life an grow as a man. Not only do you print your own money but you learn things about yourself an things that may trigger you that you were part of your past trauma. So learning myself a the charts has helped greatly for my future is bright! Also barbering skill set the foundation has set me free to be able to use art to connect with many different people an explore life through their eyes with conversation. The money is great also you get up front, but you must budget an be disciplined or you can easily go broke! For those early in there journey I would say do a lot of self reflection an understanding where your greed, fear, anxiety comes from so you can pinpoint those problem a work on them. Self development books are great as well, an just don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s for we are all on our own journey, as we came in this world alone, we will die alone. If it’s truly your passion nothing will stop you from achieving any goals you set for yourself! Remember love yourself first an the rest will tune in with hard work an dedication!
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Reading books an finding a great mentor on the specific thing your interested in doing helps lower the learning curve. Also I would just have to say life itself an all entities around me. Life is all about perspective of how you view things to be in your world. Also prayer has led me in the right direction to find those great people in my life!
