We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Morris recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
Imposter syndrome is something I still experience sometimes, but I’ve learned to recognize it. Now, I try to reframe those thoughts into opportunities to learn and grow. It’s a constant work in progress, but focusing on progress helps.
Instead of aiming for perfection, I strive for growth. I remind myself that everyone makes mistakes, and learning from them is part of the journey. It’s a shift in perspective that helps me feel less like an imposter and more like someone who’s constantly evolving.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I like to think of myself as a passionate entrepreneur and the creative mind behind Luxe Gather, a one-of-a-kind spa bus experience designed to pamper and empower kids.
Beyond Luxe Gather, I’m a published author, of a children’s book, “Brave Little Firsts: Inspiring Stories of the World’s Pioneering Women,” which was a #1 new release on Amazon.
Leveraging my corporate marketing experience, I understand the power of storytelling and creating meaningful experiences. When not leading the charge at Luxe Gather or crafting inspiring stories, I enjoy juggling the ever-important roles of wife and mom.
I’m excited for the launch of Luxe Gather Game Truck, an extension of our spa party bus.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In my experience, three key areas were most impactful in overcoming imposter syndrome:
Self-Awareness and Reframing: The ability to recognize the negative self-talk associated with imposter syndrome is crucial. Once identified, you can reframe those thoughts into more positive and realistic perspectives. This skill can be developed through practices like journaling, mindfulness exercises, and seeking feedback from trusted mentors.
Growth Mindset: Shifting from a fixed mindset (believing your abilities are set) to a growth mindset (understanding you can learn and improve) is essential. Focus on celebrating the learning process, embracing challenges as opportunities, and acknowledging the effort you put into your work.
Building a Support Network: Surrounding yourself with positive and encouraging people who believe in you is incredibly valuable. This network can include mentors, colleagues, friends, or even online communities. Sharing your struggles openly with this group can help normalize imposter syndrome and provide valuable encouragement.
Here’s some advice for folks early in their journey to develop these qualities:
Self-Awareness: Keep a journal to identify patterns in your self-talk. When negative thoughts arise, challenge them with evidence of your skills and accomplishments.
Growth Mindset: Read books or articles about growth mindsets. Set goals that focus on learning and development, not just achievement. Celebrate your progress, not just the final outcome.
Support Network: Seek out mentors or join communities in your field. Connect with like-minded individuals who can offer encouragement and share their own experiences.
Remember, overcoming imposter syndrome takes time and effort. By focusing on self-awareness, a growth mindset, and building a strong support network, you can develop the tools you need to silence the inner critic and thrive in your journey.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Absolutely! I would love to collaborate with mommy bloggers who share our passion for empowering moms, celebrating their kids and creating a sense of community. Luxe Gather is all about creating a memorable and stress free experience for moms and their kids. To spread the word about these amazing experiences, would be great!
