Yisong (Rocky), we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

First of all, as an automotive designer, often times I found my purpose throughout my passion to automobile. I am always just stay Curious, I Keep learning about new technologies, design trends, and automotive innovations. I always believe that Staying updated will help me remain passionate and find new areas of interest.
furthermore, I like to Work on diverse projects, both independently and within teams. This helps me understand different facets of automotive design and discover what I actually enjoy the most.

As a dedicated and passionate vehicle designer, I bring a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of automotive aesthetics. My journey in the field of automotive design has been driven by a relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence. With a strong foundation in design principles and a keen eye for detail, I have consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible in vehicle design. My works are characterized by a harmonious balance between form and function, ensuring that every design is not only visually stunning but also practical and efficient. I am committed to creating vehicles that inspire and enhance the driving experience, while also addressing the evolving needs of the modern consumer. Through collaboration and continuous learning, I strive to contribute to the advancement of the automotive industry and create designs that stand the test of time.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

the three qualities that were most impactful in my journey are Identify my Strengths, Seek Feedback and Stay Curious. As a designer in their early career, I believe they should always Assess their skills and strengths. Are you particularly good at sketching, 3D modeling, understanding aerodynamics, or working with new materials? As from my perspective, there are so many different parts or jobs related to automotive design. Moreover, as a designer, we should always be humble, always seeking feedback from peers, mentors, and industry professionals. Their insights can provide valuable perspective on our work and help us identify areas of strength and passion. furthermore, Stay curious is also important for designers, Keep learning about new technologies, design trends, and automotive innovations. Staying updated will help us remain passionate and find new areas of interest.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

There are few things I would do if I feel overwhelmed. One is stay organized, every time when I feel overwhelmed , I will try to keep my workspace and schedule organized. I always think clutter can add to feelings of chaos and stress. The second is Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle, even I am feeling overwhelmed, I will always regularly go having some exercise. Physical well-being greatly impacts mental health and stress levels. The third is Don’t be afraid to reach out to colleagues, friends, or family for support. Sometimes, talking about your stress can help you gain perspective and find solutions.
