Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tram-Anh Le. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Tram-Anh, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
The process of finding my purpose took a lot of trial, error, and most importantly, feeling.
All my life I’ve been entrepreneurial and creative. I love trying new things and building brands. Some did very well, some didn’t. I love the business process, but never had I felt deeply moved by my project. They felt fun and selfish.
After a personal life-altering experience, I took a look at my life and reevaluated if I liked where it was headed. I didn’t.
So I quit my desk job with no back-up plan. I traveled and created content for businesses and even moved out of the country for 3 months.
Through this process, I was able to dig deep into my heart and ask the privileged question: how can I achieve time freedom and financial freedom, scratch my creative itch, AND deploy impactful service to others.
I decided to utilized my passion for social media marketing and creativity and bring my business experience to multi-passionate creatives, like myself. My aim is to make others’ dream lives more attainable for them through their content creation.
To me, this is living my dream life and sitting in my purpose! I hope and believe it will create a ripple effect that exceeds beyond me. I’m very grateful and excited to be pursuing this, right now.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I started UrSocialMouse to empower burned out creatives who just want to get paid to do what they love online. So many social media coaches focus on engagement farming, how to be an influencer, or how to curate “authenticity”. This advice doesn’t really work for MPCs (Multi-Passionate Creatives).
This past year I felt called to combine my 10+ years of social media marketing and serial hobby-ing into a system that gives MPCs a personalize pathway to success online. I am passionate about helping creatives utilize their inherit magic to connect with like-minds online and make the world a better place (in whatever capacity that looks like to them).
Most MPCs dream to do this, but they are unsure how to leverage social media, and that’s where I come in!
Content creation should be fun and, for those who desire a to grow a business from it, purposeful.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Do it messily. Just start. I’ve start a handful of side hustles/startups. With each one, I started it with power and confidence even if I didn’t have everything figured out. Even if I was starting a social media page from zero. The sooner you start, the sooner you can feel out what needs to be improved. EVERYONE starts here at some point, so don’t over think it.
2. Follow your joy. The numbers will come if you don’t stop and keep improving. So you might as well follow through with the projects that really light you up. Execute the ideas that give you a buzz. The energy of passion is powerful, so follow it. Believe that your joy is deserved and things will work out because you’re working from the heart. This mentality has given me tons of longevity for moments that I wanted to quit,
3. Create systems. That being said. As a multi-passionate creative, I have tons of passion and love new ideas. Systems are so important for forcing yourself to give a project it’s due diligence before moving onto the next thing. It also makes running a business less chaotic and overwhelming, so you don’t get burned out quickly. My favorite systems I have listed in my IG story highlights.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is a multi-passionate creative who knows their meant to express and give a piece of their heart to the world.
They want to make original content and have creative freedom in their expression.
They have technical skills and understand the basics of using social media, but are looking for that push and structure to bloom their efforts into financial return.
Someone who is ready to put their head down and commit to building their dream life. Someone who doesn’t want to work a draining job most of their life only, to enjoy it towards the end.
Someone who craves fostering a community online or in person. Who cares of about people as much as they care about doing their hobbies. They want to be a person of influence and to use it for good.
My ideal client is ready to change their life.
