Meet Raul Moreno

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Raul Moreno a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Raul, so happy to have you with us today. You are such a creative person, but have you ever head any sort of creativity block along the way? If so, can you talk to us about how you overcame or beat it?

A way to deal with creative blocks is to step away from your work for a long time not to long where you lose interest in your work. enough time where you can have a refreshed mindset and inspiration not long ago, I had some creative blocks myself because I had too much in my plate. Took some time off for a bit now I’m getting back into the zone new inspired works, refreshed mindset, and a lot of fresh ideas. Another way to avoid creative blocks is finding new styles of art works.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

24 Productions was founded in May 2018 with the goal of making photography, videography, and graphic design available to the public at an affordable price. As the business grew over time it became a little bit complicated to keep up with the prices and expenses. The business grew on me faster than a newborn child to the point where the business grew into the industry of Hollywood as well as other various production companies inside and outside the Hollywood industry. At these current times it’s not all glamorous as there are some struggles such as lack of work recently but still manages to find its way to new eyes, new companies, new source of networks etc. As I’m writing this interview, I have some projects on the waiting list some are music album covers, YouTube channel art works, 3D avatar charters which are trending and other projects which I cannot remember at the top of my head. every day is exciting because it’s always something new you just never know what type of projects will be thrown at you all you know is that you got to be ready for what’s coming

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The most impactful qualities in my journey were that I was never satisfied with my skills, I always wanted to learn new programs I would get bored with the same thing even though it was new art works, but it was done in the same program. Until one day I said screw it I don’t know how to use this program but I’m going to try my best to learn how to use it after a while I would watch tutorials on how the program works. With that being said never stop learning always be comfortable being uncomfortable. Something people don’t acknowledge is networking is key to business, for example I’m not good at drawing by hand but if someone I know is good at drawing by hand then I’ll ask them for a favor to draw me something for a project if needed. Networking is the best way to advance when you get a hand loaned to you pay it forward that’s how it works but also stay grounded because people’s intentions can be and will be read regardless of its good or bad they will come to light. Take opportunities even if they are small or it’s not what you’re looking for as time goes on eventually what you’re looking for will come just takes Patiences.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

The most impactful things my parts have done for me is number one giving me life, supporting me in my journey as an artist, as well not letting me go hungry when things are getting difficult. Morales and values such as treat others how you want to be treated; the same respect you show to the CEO goes the same for the janitor. I love my parents that trying to describe the most impactful things they have done for me can’t be put into words and will never have a price. Because It’s really expensive that money will never buy no matter how many 0’s someone has it will never be enough.
