Meet Amy Chernikova

We recently connected with Amy Chernikova and have shared our conversation below.

Amy, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose from like minded artists I met along the way and collaborated with. Feeling such positive energy and creating something together fills my soul with so much gratitude that it truly feels like I have an internal compass guiding my every step just by sharing our thoughts and ideas together.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am a costume designer and stylist. I design looks for a mixture of real people, actors, models, and celebrities by picking out clothing for them that I feel would best suit them. I then have fittings with them and the clients who hired me and work alongside them to decide what we all think works best for the type of shoot or project we’re collaborating on.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The qualities and areas of knowledge that I think was most impactful in my journey is being able to get along with others. I think it’s very important to be empathetic towards people and get to know them through valid conversation and sharing ideas with an open mind. It really helps to see where others are coming from and to obtain a greater knowledge of what they like and seeing if there is room for collaboration and expansion.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was where they raised me. They brought me up in nature which I feel made me become a very intuitive, spiritual person and that intuition has led me to great things.
