We were lucky to catch up with Claribell Nunez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Claribell , thank you so much for making time for us today. Let’s jump right into a question so many in our community are looking for answers to – how to overcome creativity blocks, writer’s block, etc. We’d love to hear your thoughts or any advice you might have.
I overcome creativity blocks by collaborating within my community. I also take breaks and look for creativity in different forms. My main focus is on social media management and when I hit a creative block I focus my attention on painting. One of my hobbies is painting and restoring Mid-century Furniture it allows me to refocus and catch a different perspective.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My name is Claribell Nunez I am social media manager and a mom of two wonderful children. I help businesses reach our local community and create content that promotes engagement. My passion is helping small business reach their goals and increase foot traffic by being consistent with their online brand. I take on the responsibility that comes with posting on a consistent schedule on all platforms. I am really passionate about this because I’ve seen how local businesses begin to thrive once we add consistency to the mix.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Resilience, Dedication and Adaptivenes. I would say with anything you do you must always carry these three qualities. They become almost crucial because without them you might just give up at the fist sign of adversity. It is an unfortunate truth that when you are in any creative sphere you will get individuals that don’t believe or understand your creative approach. And sometimes you might even receive ridicule for the way you creatively express yourself. The best life lesson you can take is don’t let rejection be a hurdle on your path to your goals.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am looking to collaborate with local restaurants and or food influencers. They can connect with me through email at [email protected] or directly message on Instagram at nunezandco. I am offering a free trial month for my services during the summer any inquiries are welcome.
