Meet Christina Acosta Marder

We were lucky to catch up with Christina Acosta Marder recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina , so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

Self care is so personal to everyone that we are all so diffrent. Selfcare for myself is making sure my spirit, mind, and body get attention. I make sure to dance as my hobby which is one of my passions. Literally I dance in my house for hours a few times a week. I listen to binaural beats when I sleep. I have a five step skincare routine. A few times a month I also treat myself to a massage, facial, and nails. Putting myself first is very important. In my career I am continuously touching the crown chakra, I want to make sure I am pouring from a full cup for great energy. Reiki and Spiritual baths are also very important for me each week to keep my Aura protected.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I get to make people feel and look great with esthetics.
Winning SkinFluencer with Clarityrx I was able to fly to New Jersey and do a photoshoot with their brand. Wonderful experience! What is in the works is definetly a big transition but it will be a surprise to everyone. My goal as always is to start by focusing on healing modalities like Reiki and crystal healing. I am going to also learn sound healing to eventually offer it as a group treatment. We are in the world where we all need healing from the inside out. I plan to grow in the holistic route. So stay tuned!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I am glad that I started my career in Hospitality for some of the best resorts in the country for example, Club Med, Villagio Inn, Macarthur Place. These places taught me how to give a great experience to anyone I encounter. I believe that we are losing that in the customer service world, so I always make sure with my services that the clients get the best treatments. Five star resorts have a standard and that was definetly implemented in my hospitality leading into esthetics journey.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

One of the best books I read was from Wynn Claybaugn “Be Nice or Else” he is definetly one of my mentors that shows being genuinely nice will open all the doors for your future.
” The Alchemist”
” Power of Now”
