Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Toccara Samuel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Toccara, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I think what helped me build my confidence and self-esteem is my honesty and authenticity. Being my true self as I journey through life has helped me develop my confidence. I am not afraid to share my challenges and I am not afraid to relate to my audience and my clients during my journey.

I am also strong in my faith and connected to family members who keep me encouraged. Those factors play a big roll in my life and help me to maintain my confidence and self-esteem.

I am Toccara Samuel, Licensed Esthetician, CEO and Creator of Exceptional Creations with Toccara and the Exceptional Private Label Company. I specialize in Hair growth, skincare, beard care, coaching, product education and product creation. In addition to being an Esthetician I work as a Beauty Specialist, I’m an author and I assist others on their journey towards wellness and beauty. My journey began while in school to become an esthetician. I lost my hair due to health issues and started experiencing issues with my skin. I started developing all natural products to assist with hair growth, eczema, acne, pain and more.To go from having no hair to fully growing my hair back myself was a journey that led to me assisting others while tracking my growth via social media. I proved my products work by being my own walking billboard while assisting others. After obtaining all that was needed to launch my business I began networking with barbers, stylists, beauty supply stores and other estheticians to expand my brand. My products are now available on my website and have shipped throughout the United States.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Three very important qualities are honesty, consistency and authenticity. Always be honest with yourself and your clients, be consistent in growing your business and be your true authentic self.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am definitely looking to collaborate with others. I’m interested in collaborating with Podcasts, influencers, other estheticians, beauty professionals, tattoo artists/enthusiasts, barbers, beard enthusiasts,mental health organizations, body positive influencers, and I am also looking for brand ambassadors.
