Hi Young , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I would say my mother (Casandra) she worked hard while I was growing up and taught my brother (Adonus) and I never give up and work hard to achieve our dream. I’ve been working on this music thing for years a lot of highlights and a lot more coming just happy I’ve been able to focus on my dream

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Young Invent code name Black Spanish Rock Star is a mixture of some of the greatest artist wrapped into one vessel. Born and raised in Los Angeles but had the privilege of traveling the world from a young age. Seeing different parts of the world and cultures allowed me to grow bigger and broaden my view on the world. I usually call myself a world traveler that makes good music. Currently in a rebranding of my Club City Entertainment company I’m helping push my award winning artist Diverse Official, my wrestler Sean Black The Urban Juggernaut and model Yvette Todea. It’s good to watch them work hard at their dream and help as much as possible. I’m also working on my champagne company and rebranding so much exciting moves being made. I’m back to traveling more and doing more performances with other companies like Yanwie Mami, Artist Connext

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I would say the most important qualities, skills and knowledge is knowing your circle and company. You have to have a team that wants to see you succeed as much as you want to. Get familiar with your brand who you want to target and what you stand for and don’t divert from your core audience/customer.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

When I’m overwhelmed I go to my core team and family. I have a good circle and core from Laura, Adonus, Moms, Dee, Courtney, Yvette, Martha, DiVerse Official, Anna, Sean, Xavier, Jimmy, Foe, Kevin, Littles, D.B. The Don, Juels of Rome a lot of people I can go to and count on. They always give me motivation, advice, love etc. They will literally talk me into the right path to where I can calm down and focus on what I need to. It’s a lot of work but you have to be willing to keep moving forward even when things go bad. I’ve had a ton of promoters scam me but we kept going forward, I’m proud to have the circle I have because if I didn’t I’d never be in the position I am.
