Meet Chrissy Stewart

We were lucky to catch up with Chrissy Stewart recently and have shared our conversation below.

Chrissy, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I boosted my confidence and self-esteem by shifting my focus away from others and onto myself. It’s natural to have doubts in life, but approaching everything with humility is key. Embrace your own journey and don’t let others bring you down! Believe in yourself!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a passionate photographer driven by the desire to capture life’s precious moments. I thrive on exploring new ideas and experimenting with innovative techniques. Whether it’s playing with composition, experimenting with lighting, or trying out new editing styles, I am always looking to elevate my work to the next level!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three skills that have made the biggest impact on my journey are lighting, composition, and staying true to myself. My advice for new photographers is to embrace your unique style and dedicate yourself to practicing. Remember, practice makes progress! Keep pushing yourself and your skills will improve.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

I am thrilled to say that my editing style has seen tremendous growth / improvement in the past year! I have picked up numerous new techniques and ideas that have truly elevated my work. I am so excited to continue honing my skills and pushing myself even further!
