Meet Peyton Montgomery

We recently connected with Peyton Montgomery and have shared our conversation below.

Peyton, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

This is a constant work in progress. However, I have found that having people around you who truly believe in what you are creating, that’s the best way to overcome the self doubt.

Every event I host, idea I have- I question it. The joy on my guests faces, or their reactions to their event are so helpful to validate the creation, yes. But truly- I think your network of likeminded humans, that’s the key to overcoming the imposter syndrome.

You create beauty, so surround yourself with those who see it ✨

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I create spaces for people to come and just, be. Beautifully unique spaces for core memories to happen.

I believe in slowing down and seeing beauty in little things. Flowers, good food, a beautiful park, friends and family you don’t see everyday.

It’s so important to help develop the us we want to be. The slowing down and creating memories and experiences that look like more of the life we want ❤️

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Build your network.
Make it fit into your world, not your world into it.
You get what you give.

The community of women I have surrounded myself with has been everything for my growth in my business.

My world, as a single mama of two- fits into my picnic world. My Littles see me create and they tag along and they are a part of the journey. My life isn’t second to my business it coexists.

When you’re inspired and you’re going head on into your creating, it shows.
When life gets going and you slow down in your passion for your creating, it shows.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am always looking to grow my network of like minded beauties! I love collaborating with local businesses and adding their beauty to my events!
