We were lucky to catch up with UYG Flizop recently and have shared our conversation below.

UYG , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I get my work ethic from my father, growing up on the small island of St. Croix where there isn’t much opportunities or jobs to make money my father still found ways to make things happen for our family everyday.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My name is UYG Flizop and i am a artist from the US Virgin Islands, St. Croix to be exact. The most exciting thing about what i do would be meeting new people and inspiring other people young and old to believe in themselves. My brand is Zop World a spin off of my name and in actually a highly anticipated project from my supporters. I have generated over 4 million streams on several platforms over the years that i have been working on music. As a hard working artist I leave the studio with atleast 3 songs or more so i have a project for every month until next year.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back my areas of knowledge that were most impactful to my journey would be staying active and never giving up on what i believed in. Another area that impacted my journey would be working and improving my music everyday. My last area of knowledge would be staying down until it was my time. The biggest advice i can give to anybody who is early in their journey is to never give up, keep practicing no matter what you do just make sure to never give up.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

My biggest area of growth in the last 12 months would be my youtube streaming numbers reason being only this year i started to constantly drop videos.
