We recently connected with Peter Coissy and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Peter, thanks for sitting with us today to chat about topics that are relevant to so many. One of those topics is communication skills, because we live in an age where our ability to communicate effectively can be like a superpower. Can you share how you developed your ability to communicate well?
My communication skills grew once I learned the way I react makes things worst so I did some personal development because I’ve learned whenever there is a problem I am apart of the solution.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a man of all men who is focus in creating and leaving a legacy that will inspire the world, I strive to break barriers that’s been built to keep me and people who looks like me away from enjoy true freedom. In life there’s so many ways we can find paradise and that’s through music, sports or materialize things that uplifts our confidence.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three key factors that have significantly contributed to my personal growth journey are: learning to love oneself and recognizing that self-love is not dependent on others to fulfill one’s sense of self-worth. Secondly, periodically taking a step back to reflect on areas of personal improvement and seeking guidance from others or positive environments to acquire valuable skills from successful individuals. Lastly, consistently working on personal development and maintaining a safe space from negative influences to ensure clarity and focus.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
I would say the book that change my train of thought and teaches me how to have a better view was the 48 laws of power by Robert Green. That book took me into another level in life and the way I deal with people, I’ve developed skills I didn’t think I had just by being creative and learning from peoples reactions with life.
