Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Trinity Rose . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Trinity , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
That’s a great question! For me, finding my purpose was a process of assessing my values—what matters to me most—and aligning them with my innate skills and passion. I grew up in a household where meaningful work was highly encouraged. My love for branding and visual communication started back in high school in a visual communications class. I attended a private high school that promoted independent learning and thinking, which is where I initially developed the discipline to work for myself.
A turning point was when I co-founded a sustainable fashion app in NYC. One of our investors said, “There are two types of entrepreneurs: those meant to support others in their dreams and those meant to lead and be visionaries.” Being a co-founder was a profound learning experience, and one of my takeaways was that I truly love supporting others in making their dreams and visions come to life. I also knew that if I was going to help others’ visions come to life, I needed them to make a positive impact so I could feel good about the work I was doing. Additionally, my own healing journey and intuitive skills have influenced how I view my purpose and my integrative coaching and mentorship style, enabling me to connect with clients on a deeper level and guide them holistically.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Ultimately I am a space holder for my client’s vision, I help them alchemize their business through intuitive insights and integrative strategies. Together, I help them deepen their impact and move away from the shallow end of marketing and branding. I guide them toward an aligned business while helping amplify their voice. Together we access our innate wisdom and align with purpose while implementing resonant strategies.
Pursuing a purpose-driven path comes with its challenges and rewards. As a creative, founder, and small business owner, I’ve been there, lived it, and learned many valuable lessons along the way. In my experience, the alchemy of success is both an internal and external process which is why I love the type of integrative business coaching I offer.
My clients receive embodied and intuitive guidance. I distill years of experience into their endeavors along with aligned strategies and supportive frameworks. We also develop actionable steps to advance their business/career goals. My strengths in deep listening, synthesizing diverse information, and ‘seeing’ beyond the surface enable me to present personalized insights and strategies that produce profound clarity and foster substantial growth.
I mostly work with my clients within a 3-month container, but also have a one-off Aligned Business Audit offering. I am also the Creative Director for Rituel Retreats in Malibu CA, so my business coaching capacity is limited to a few slots a quarter.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Alignment and radical honesty are super important in my experience. In 2008, while traveling in Australia and gearing up to start my own business for the first time, I met a self-made billionaire at a dinner party who gave me some helpful, even if seemingly obvious, advice. He said, “Know and honor your talents and strengths, get honest about what you suck at, don’t apologize for that. Instead, outsource it and also get really clear on what motivates you…” For him, it was cars; for me, it’s been meaningful + creative work. So, in other words, get clear on your innate strengths and talents (if you’re not sure, ask your loved ones), as well as what lights you up. Admit to yourself what you don’t like, what you aren’t good at, and what your weaknesses are. Keep all of that front of mind as you build out your vision, dreams, or business. Also, assess your values and make sure you’re creating something that is in alignment with them. If you know what your purpose is, even better—follow that thread. It will help you get out of bed in the morning when things get hard, and they will!
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
I slooow down, I let myself cry if I need to, I take a walk in nature (if possible) and most importantly I do a grounding meditation or something else that will nurture my nervous system. Then I create a list of actionable small steps. I zoom in, instead of out… Also if the overwhelm is from a limiting belief or emotional pattern or trigger from my past, I will bring it to my coach or therapist for us to work through together.
