Meet LaChanda F Ryans

We recently connected with LaChanda F Ryans and have shared our conversation below.

LaChanda F, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I discovered my purpose by seeking guidance through prayer and the leading of Holy Spirit. My passion has always been to be used in the fullness of my purpose that God originated and intended for me to do here on the earth. To also be a beacon of light to help pull and push others towards their purpose and reach those that are lost and help them reach their full capacity in Christ. We all were meant to soar and be free. It’s a task, but definitely obtainable once you make up your mind. I get joy watching others find their purpose and helping them push through. I aim to always be reachable to share all of my resources, and connections that will continue to help others develop and keep pursuing their purpose while doing it all unapologetically. All you need is a yes and the will to move.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Growing up as a child, I was always the one you would find helping others. Whether it was cheering them on, giving encouraging words, showing up for them, or giving my tips on seeking purpose. I just considered myself as everyone’s bestie, lol. If anyone would ask you about me, one of the things they would immediately say is, she never meets a stranger. I just love people. As time passed I was encouraged to seek turning my passion into coaching others. I’ve always known that I have a gift and plus I love to talk. So becoming a Purpose Driven Coach was the perfect plan for me. After all it was already my destiny and apart of God’s plan for my life. It’s who I have always been, so why not give back to others. As a purpose driven coach I completely understand the process. I aim to help those navigate through their process with tools and strategies they can easily insert into their everyday lives. I have also launched a non-profit called PushingHER Through (Healed, Evolved, and Restored) that gives women an outlet to connect with others and process their journey in a non-judgemental environment. The start of my purpose journey led me to major in Public Relations / Marketing and later invest in myself with getting certified as a Life Coach specializing in purpose. My passion for helping others has also led me to become an Author writing several books to encourage purpose, as well as being led into the field of Education. Currently, I am a Computer Technology and Robotics Teacher. My purpose has expanded into the classroom reaching the next leaders of the world. Driving Purpose is so rewarding in it’s own right. It’s just something about seeing someone else’s light come on and begin to shine bright with no restrictions. My hope is to always be an example that no matter what life will bring your way, it should not over power your will to find your purpose and live it out loud. We all have a purpose and a plan that was designed just for us. My heart’s desire is to continue to share my gift and light with the world reaching one life at a time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three things that have been most impactful in my journey were having a consistent prayer life, remaining confident, and being teachable. My advice would be to believe in yourself and the ability that God has given you. Keep positive people around you that can encourage you and give compassion when needed. Never stop learning because purpose is ever-evolving.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

When dealing with purpose you have to be sure that you remain focus and confident because distractions are a real thing and can draw you away from pursuing your purpose. If you are not careful other people’s thoughts and opinions can lead you into a place of doubt and stagnation causing you to forfeit your purpose all together. To overcome these obstacles is where your consistent prayer life will help lead and guide you in the way you were created to go. According to
Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV it reads “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” We were created to Overcome!
