We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aaliyah Grace a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Aaliyah , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
My optimism ultimately comes from my Faith in God. I keep God first place in all that I do, and He plays a Big part within my business and brand. I know He has BIG in store for me, and this is only the beginning of my journey. I always try to look at the brighter side of situations, and not focus on the negative.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I launched my Brand Aaliyah Grace in February of 2021. I created my brand when I decided I wanted to become my own boss, and start building an empire of my own, by sharing my love for style, beauty, inspiration, and lifestyle.
On my blog, you’ll find fashion/style inspiration, beauty product reviews, various makeup looks, makeup/skincare routines, beauty/fashion hauls, and inspiration posts.
My goals have not changed, which is to establish a REAL connection with my audience by creating aesthetically pleasing and engaging content, all the while building an empire.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I will say the qualities and skills that have been most impactful in my journey are faith, ambition, and organization. As stated before, my Faith and keeping God first has been an important part of my journey. I am truly an ambitious person that wants the best out of life. I have desires and I am determined to achieve success. And I apply this to building my brand as well. Finally, being organized has been key to success. Being organized, will help you be more efficient and successful, whether it’s managing your time or planning out content.
For those who are early in their journey, I would advise you to find something that you are passionate about and take that step of faith and go for it! It wasn’t until I found out what my passions were that I knew what I wanted to do.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
In the future, I will like to collaborate and work with fellow beauty/fashion/style bloggers and digital content creators (Instagram/YouTube personalities). This would help myself and the parties involved receive more exposure, and to get in front of a new audience.
