We were lucky to catch up with Lily Kubly recently and have shared our conversation below.

Lily , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I have been connected to my purpose since I was a child – I just got disconnected for some time and came back to it. Ever since I was a child I was highly sensitive and highly empathetic. I knew in my being that i was meant to serve people. I remember being in Catholic elementary school and learning about the saints and saying to myself at around 8 years old that “that was the level of service I wanted to bring into the world” – that their way of being was the way I was supposed to be in the world (AKA serving humanity in really big bold ways). I lost sight of this vision when the weight of the world and a rather chaotic childhood. I ended up working in corporate advertising, yet the whole time I told myself that “I would go back to school for psychology if this didn’t work out”. I ended up having a VERY abrupt spiritual awakening caused by a lot of intensity in my first 2 years post college due to corporate burnout and some other life altering situations that caused me to start questioning patterns I was seeing in my life. During this time, I realized I had spiritual gifts and I connected that the nudges I felt towards healing work were not for no reason. I couldn’t ignore them anymore – and realized I was meant to heal and help others heal. I started a business doing intuitive readings which eventually led me to my purpose of helping other intuitive healers unlock their true purpose and potential by building 6-7 figure businesses and unlocking their gifts. It seriously lights my soul up to do the work I’m doing.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My name is Lily Rae and I’m an intuitive guide and business mentor for healers looking to quit their corporate jobs and far surpass their corporate salary in their business by providing service to MANY and high level services.

I had been feeling the nudges to do healing work for my whole life but didn’t think it was “possible” because of what I was taught and told throughout my life. I told myself that I would do it after retirement when I felt “secure”. Yet, the nudges got LOUDER. Luckily, I had a mentor and also some nudges from the universe to check into my money mindset – and everything changed super rapidly. Just about 2 years ago quit my job ON A WHIM with no plan after I couldn’t ignore the nudges anymore (and my spirit guides came to me in a dream telling me to “rip the bandaid”). I knew deep down that even though this felt impulsive- this was the route I needed to go because all my energy was being drained at my job and I had been putting off tapping into my intuitive gifts because of it. I then started my business within 3-4 months of that time doing intuitive readings – I jumped RIGHT in and started reading (eventually for close to 1000 people). Because of the intensity of how I started my business – I had to learn things QUICK. I then got the nudge that I’m supposed to help others start their businesses and navigate the robust journey that it took to get here. I have since surpassed my corporate monthly salary and most recently jumped from $5k months to just under $20k.

I use my intuitive gifts in my work which helps people to build businesses that are deeply in line with their purpose and the work their soul came here to do – and also defy what’s “reasonable”. I work with universal energetics – which has made my business absolutely rocket launch.

This is so special to me and lights me UP big time because helping others realize they don’t need to rely on soul sucking corporate jobs for survival – and in fact they can create a business from their SOUL that makes them MUCH more income than their “safe” corporate job ever would. I initially never thought this was “possible” for me – and many who I work with have felt the same at some point in their life. So to help them step into their power and help them go serve the world is beyond anything I could have ever wished for.

My page is built on my Metamorphosis Movement – which centers around becoming the most up-leveled and unlocked versions of ourselves. Business is a big mirror – and we use this mirror to our advantage to completely transform. In general, my brand is very much free-spirited and gives “fairy” vibes. In my community – We follow the nudges of our higher self, follow spontaneity and act in bravery when the universe gives us a “go” signal. For instance – I got the nudge in a meditation to book a spontaneous Costa Rica trip – so I did it the very next day. And now I have a group coming with me and I get to serve them in truly such a magical place. This is how my world works.

I currently have a LOT coming up. I have The Butterfly Effect group relaunching in September for healers looking to start their businesses, make the first $1k-$10k and create their 6-7 figure+ business foundation and am starting a program called Metamorphosis Mastermind for those looking to scale to $10k months and beyond. I have multiple in person engagements coming up – An Austin Texas weekend in November and an Egypt retreat in January. I am ALWAYS creating so there will probably be more by the time this is published!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

There are so many! I have two parts to this.

In terms of inner work: Money mindset, energetics and self concept were a HUGE part of what shifted me to a place where I felt my business was “possible”. These core blocks are in the way of MANY who hesitate to follow their soul’s calling. In the months up to me leaving my job – I had major shifts in these three areas, which I only realized upon looking back. I really recommend anyone who feels they are called to healing work to focus on shifting these three key areas. Many do not question their money beliefs which keeps so many people stuck in jobs they hate. The minute I realized that there was healing to do around money and looked at my money mindset – everything changed. I literally quit my job on a whim within a month and a half of that time.

In terms of business development: Energetics, strategy and structure were the three key areas. Not only tapping into universal laws and money energetics (which I can share more about), but upgrading the individual energy system (chakras) has been so key for helping me and my clients to tap into their power in their business. Working from this level helps to prep the mind, body and spirit for more income and overall peace in their life and business. For most intuitives and healers – energetics is a super main focus and some lose sight of strategy and structure because it feels “limiting”. A lot of what I teach in The Butterfly Effect is the strategy and structure that goes into creating 6-7 figures in soul -led business. This was something I neglected for the first part of my business because it reminded me of my corporate job (which is something I see a LOT for my clients and people on my pages as well). Once I finally moved past this, I realized there are actually such important energetics around having these systems in place. This is what helped my business start to sky rocket and I talk about it a lot on my pages and in my work

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?

I think it is SO important to learn all the skills needed to run a business, even if you can eventually outsource it. It’s character development and in the long run will help you better run a business and even train your team in the future. For instance, I was terrified of sales when I first started and it took me well over a year to get more comfortable with it. By pushing myself to learn, and now I’m very good at sales, I learned a LOT of valuable skills and find it so fun connected with potential clients. This allows me to do my content and services better because I really know what people are thinking and feeling by asking questions in these calls. If I decided to avoid this – I would be disconnected to that part of my business. The same goes for strategy and structure, which I initially felt resistant to because of feeling burnt in corporate. I now am able to teach my clients these super important skills because I have developed my skills in these areas.
