Iris, thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?
Self discipline is a driving force in my life, rooted in my desire to succeed and provide a better future for my family. The commitment i have to discipline stems from a deep-seated determination to overcome challenges and avoid failure. Which in some instances isn’t necessarily a strength but I have managed to come far in life because of it. It is this inner resolve that motivates me to push forward even in the face of adversity.
The primary motivator is the aspiration to offer my husband and children opportunities and experiences that are enriched in endless possibilities, stability and true happiness. I also strive to give back to our families and the community around us. This isn’t merely about material wealth but instilling values, love, support, and creating lifelong memories.
Self discipline isn’t just something i possess. It is a guiding principle that shapes my actions and decisions daily. It fuels my ambition and empowers me to perservere.

LNA Beauty Bar was birthed with the simple desire of wanting to create flexibility within our family schedule to support the needs of our children. I fell in love with lashes years ago and how they made me feel and decided to come into the industry and master the craft of lashing. Throughout time LNA Beauty Bar has shifted and grown into something I had envisioned at some point, but felt so far fetched. LNA Beauty Bar now offers rental suites to beauty professionals and supports independent female entrepreneurs in the beauty industry by providing a safe space where they can showcase their skills and connect with clients who appreciate their artistry. We believe in creating a community of strong, independent women who uplift and inspire each other to reach their full potential.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reliability, Professionalism, and attention to detail I would say are three of my most important qualities.
When it comes to your area of knowledge. I would say. Master your craft, what ever that may be just dedicate and sacrifice your time to what can help excel you in life. Have a deeper understanding of you niche in the field you are in and thrive off the knowledge.
Have the passion and dedication. This will help collectively contribute to the things you wish to achieve in your journey.
