I draw great strength and resilience from my rich Cajun and Norwegian heritage. Rooted in the vibrant Cajun culture, I embrace the enduring spirit that has withstood countless challenges, celebrating the joys of life and finding resilience in the face of adversity. The Cajun people have an indomitable spirit, forged through generations of perseverance and a deep connection to their land, music, and traditions. Additionally, my Norwegian heritage instills in me a sense of resilience borne from the rugged landscapes and storied history of the Vikings. From the fjords to the mountains, the Norwegian people have weathered harsh climates and navigated treacherous seas, displaying unwavering strength and determination. Their resilience stems from a deep respect for nature, an appreciation for community, and a fierce commitment to overcoming obstacles.
Together, the blend of Cajun and Norwegian heritage fuels my resilience, instilling in me a steadfast resolve to face challenges head-on, to find strength in my roots, and to embrace the cultural legacies that have shaped my identity.

I am deeply moved by the profound love and devotion that people have for their pets, and I consider it a privilege to be a part of spoiling their beloved furbabies. Witnessing the unconditional bond between humans and their furry companions fills my heart with joy and reinforces the inherent goodness and empathy within us. Being able to contribute to the well-being and happiness of these cherished pets brings me immense satisfaction. Whether it’s dressing them in a new bandana or bow tie, I take great pleasure in pampering these furry family members. Seeing the excitement and contentment in their eyes, and witnessing the unbreakable connection they share with their human counterparts, is a constant reminder of the incredible power of love.
I understand the profound impact that pets have on our lives. They offer unwavering companionship, bring comfort in times of distress, and teach us valuable lessons about compassion and unconditional love. By participating in spoiling these furbabies, I play a small but meaningful role in enhancing their lives and strengthening the bond they share with their owners.

As a small pet accessory business, there are three key qualities that are crucial for success: 1. Quality craftsmanship: Ensuring top-notch craftsmanship is essential for any pet accessory business. By maintaining a commitment to high-quality materials, design, and construction, you can provide customers with durable and reliable products. Attention to detail and a focus on creating items that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing will set your business apart, fostering customer trust and loyalty.

Being adaptable to changing customer needs and preferences allows you to create unique and appealing products that resonate with pet owners. As I strive to turn my passion into a successful venture, I must navigate the delicate balance between professional responsibilities and the demands of building and expanding my own business. Working full time demands a considerable amount of my time and energy, leaving limited resources to devote to The Taryn Project. However, I view this challenge as an opportunity for growth and a testament to my commitment. It requires meticulous time management, prioritization, and the ability to make the most of every available moment.
To overcome this challenge, I have developed a clear roadmap and set achievable goals that align with the vision of The Taryn Project. I utilize my evenings, weekends, and any free time to invest in the development of my business. Whether it’s conducting market research, refining my product or service offerings, or implementing effective marketing strategies, I maximize my productivity during these windows of opportunity.
