Meet Perry Clarke

 

We recently connected with Perry Clarke and have shared our conversation below.

Perry, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I got my work ethic from my father, I grow up seeing my father be on time to any engagement. Always coming through , working two job with easy., and not taking any days off. I applied this to anything I do in life, it’s dedication and perseverance. I feel seeing this growing up it prepared me for the grind. If you gone be great , you have to be able to put the work in and be willing to grind the process out to get to your goal. You have to be about the work.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I do so many things , first I’m fashion designer, graphic designer , entrepreneur, content creator, and a VJ. I have been a podcast host since 2016. I started my clothing brand in 2014 called Dangerous Paradise. It also the name of my popular youtube channel Dangerous Paradise tv. That also the name of my sneaker Dangerous Paradise, im apart of a hip hip network. The name of the network is hhntv it available in the all App Stores. I also have a documentary out on the app call Crown Me, which I produced. The podcasts are Primetimelive and 420 and blunted. 420 and blunted is exclusive on the hhntv app. Primetimelive is on YouTube under DangerousParadise tv and the Apple podcast. They call me two podcasts Shawty.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The first one is my work ethic it has to be in you and you have to keep practicing it, until it becomes second nature. Next is perseverance, it a test of your character, once you have falling and you understand the process to get back up on your feet. You become unstoppable, because you have no fear in failure, and begin to champion your failures. The ability to be able to talk to people and speak with passion to inspire them to be great. You have to practice you speak, cause practice make perfect, and it be come natural.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

My family and how I was raised, seeing there trials and tribulation has been a teacher. From both side of my family. My father and my uncle from my mother side of the family. They have been example of great men, hard work, dedication , and being able to dream. Making your dreams a reality with powerful and positive affirmations. My aunties put in the workforce young working a summer job in a company they had high ranking positions in. The experience working with seasoned adults getting the real on what not to do life. This help me tremendously.
