Mars , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I develop my confidence by continuously perfecting my skills and craft. I try to always have faith in my purpose no matter my situation and remind myself it’s bigger than me. I like to maintain a clear mind by going to the gym and furthering my knowledge by reading and learning from the masters.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a music artist/producer who has a clothing brand (Urban 51) and trade options in the stock market. I’m a model and have my license in helping people obtain investment/retirement plans. From attaining my BA degree in Economics at Sacramento State, I was able to cultivate a brand and blend it with my passions. The brand was created with my deep interest in the cosmic, art, and economics. My image is portray as a Martian because of the feeling of being out place or truly accepting what makes you different/special. I hope to relate with those who feel the same. Within the next few years, I’m planning to get my clothing in various stores around the country, run my own discourse/class with stocks, become a teacher in my community and to tour/perform more.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The first quality was my determination, it help me keep going and to never quit. Second, was the environment/neighborhood I grew up in. It mold me into the person I am today . Third, my underrated skill is my awareness. My advice to those who early on their journey is nothing happens overnight and you need to have a combination of passion, work ethic and strategy.
