Sylvia & Santiago, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

In 2017, my partner and I embarked on a life-changing journey to the breathtaking landscapes of Mt. Shasta, California. Little did we know that this trip would define our purpose and shape our future. As we explored the natural beauty of the area, surrounded by the majestic mountains and tranquil lakes, we had an epiphany. It was as if the energy of the place awakened something deep within us, igniting a passion that would alter the course of our lives.

During our time in Mt. Shasta, we found ourselves immersed in a profound experience that triggered a transformative shift in our perspective. It was here, in the midst of nature’s grandeur, that we realized the power of music as a universal language to connect with others and make a positive impact. This realization sparked a shared vision between us, motivating us to establish Paradigm SG, an embodiment of our commitment to using music to reach others and enrich lives.

Fueled by our newfound purpose, we poured our hearts and souls into the creation of our first album, “Mystic Sounds of Mt. Shasta.” This album was not just a collection of songs but a testament to our journey, encapsulating the essence of our experience in Mt. Shasta and the profound shift it inspired within us. Every note, and every melody bore the imprint of our connection to that sacred place and our belief in the transformative power of music.

Our journey to Mt. Shasta was the catalyst for our mission, propelling us to share our passion for music with the world and uplift others through its profound resonance.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My partner and I are dedicated to helping people manage life’s stresses through our carefully crafted guided meditations. We truly believe that music is a universal language that can bring individuals from all walks of life together. Our shared passion for music and our aspiration to assist others drives us to create music that can have a positive impact on the world. In addition to our music, we also offer holistic lifestyle advice aimed at nurturing the mind, body, and soul. Currently, we are embracing a rejuvenating juice cleanse and are actively documenting our experiences and sharing our favorite recipes on social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest. Our latest album, “Affirmations – Mindful 808s,” was just released this February and is readily accessible on all major streaming platforms.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Reflecting on our journey, we have come to understand that three particular qualities or skills have had the most significant impact on our success: purpose, persistence, and self-belief.

Discovering and embracing your purpose is paramount. It goes beyond financial gain and encompasses using our abilities and knowledge to positively impact the lives of others. Especially during the initial years of building an artist brand or any small business, it can be tough as you invest more than you earn. Without a clear sense of purpose, it becomes challenging to persevere.

Persistence is another essential factor. There are times when giving up seems like the only option, but we always reminded ourselves that success is not a matter of “if” but “when.” It takes time to connect with those who appreciate your work, but they will come if you continue to consistently show up.

Lastly, self-belief is of utmost importance. If you don’t have confidence in yourself, how can you expect others to? Once you find your purpose, believe in it and in yourself – because you are meant to fulfill that purpose. There’s an extraordinary light within you, so don’t hesitate to let it shine.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

During our incredible journey, we were truly fortunate to have each other’s unwavering support and companionship during the most trying and difficult times. Together, we confronted and overcame a myriad of obstacles, standing side by side to provide encouragement and motivation. One of the most invaluable insights we acquired was the necessity of approaching our artistic endeavors from a more business-oriented perspective. We delved into the intricacies of the business side of being artists, immersing ourselves in the unfamiliar terrain of marketing, finances, and entrepreneurship. Our partnership allowed us to freely exchange ideas and collaborate on extensive research, providing a solid foundation for our creative ventures.
