Kelly, so great to have you with us today. There are so many topics we want to ask you about, but perhaps the one we can start with is burnout. How have you overcome or avoided burnout?
I’ve always been drawn to slow living and finding meaning in the everyday moments. For me, surrounding myself with like-minded individuals is key.
Building a strong support system has been paramount– one where well-being brands and passionate individuals can learn from each other. Conversations unfold around mindful movement, appreciating nature’s beauty, and all the simple moments that contribute to such meaningful lives. And it’s those moments that resonate with community – that campaigns seamlessly flow into everyday routines. Seeing that impact, that’s the true depth of this work. It’s complete fuel and a constant reminder of the power we have to create change by sharing stories and connecting with like-minded souls.
Travel also is a major influence. While I enjoy exploring new places, I’m most drawn to experiences that connect me with people and cultures on a deeper level. It’s about finding those unique stories and learnings that enrich our everyday.

Through DEPTH THEORY, I specialize in crafting engaging brand developments. Our mission is to go beyond the surface to convey the purpose and values behind brands, transforming audiences into advocates. In turn this fosters community to drive successful sales conversions. What excites me most is the chance to combine storytelling with depth and personal exploration, crafting unique spaces online and around the globe where brands can find their rhythm through strategic roadmaps.

As I share this exciting approach, I’m witnessing a fairytale wave break in the South of Mexico. Traveling to places like this fills my cup; serving as a gentle reminder to my community of the profound importance in pursuing what ignites your flow and inspires your soul. I want others to know they can truly enjoy the process of selling out their retreats, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the practice and life-changing programs they’ve worked so hard to develop. DEPTH THEORY is about embracing time outside of the business so you can pour that passion and energy into others, creating a ripple effect of positive impact.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’d say my passion for capturing the ‘why’ behind actions and continuously going deeper has been a driving force in many facets of life. This curiosity helps in adapting to new challenges and connecting with audiences minus the surface level shit. To cultivate this quality, stay curious about the purpose of well— anything. Seek diverse perspectives and never stop exploring new ideas. Embrace experimentation and be open to evolving your approach based on what you learn. I’d also advise against trying to appeal to everyone. When building a business, focusing on what you genuinely feel connected to will naturally attract your community.
For those just starting their business journey, my advice is to immerse into what drives your ‘why’ by actively learning and applying your discoveries. It’s so importante to focus on creating and implementing effective marketing strategies that drive engagement whiiiiiile fostering your own growth. Investing time in understanding and applying flywheel marketing concepts will promote sustainable growth. And perhaps the most vital role! Seek support. Engage with local communities and continually refine your offerings through practice and feedback. This will help you build a solid foundation and navigate the complexities of marketing your product or experience with depth.
